I had never been to Eve Salon before, even though it is extremely close to NYU’s campus on 8th street in the Village in NYC. The space itself is very much a zen oasis, tiny but impeccably clean with new interiors and great service. I received a polish change and the new Sweet & Light Pedicure, and received my own set of buffers, exfoliator, files, and wooden cuticle sticks to keep (and of course bring back the next time I come) which was an approving nod in the sanitary factor of the salon. Mostly Essie and Zoya polishes can be found, which I was excited about since the latter isn’t as common to come across, and is very natural and three-free when it comes to those bad chemicals.
The complimentary pedicure I reviewed, Light & Sweet, is $40, and uses products that you can also buy separately to try at home, such as the Bella Lucce – Bali Kopi Coffee Scrub ($26.50) which really is quite aromatic and comprised of organic Ethiopian and Indonesian beans and rich coffee absolut to detoxify and exfoliate the skin, while the Farm House Fresh – Sweet Cream Body Milk ($27) is a moisturizing yet light lotion that feels nice rubbed in to the feet and calves, massage style. The pedicure also came with a cup of coffee, which at 7pm, gave me no excuse to not go home and get back to work! I would definitely recommend this particular pedicure, as well as Eve Salon for a tranquil, relaxing, and professional spa experience.
