Use These Makeup Brushes for More Than Just…Makeup!

by Julia DiNardo

I love multi-functioning products and getting the most bang for my buck, so it comes as no surprise that I’m going to take four of my favorite EcoTools brushes and use them as they are intended, but ALSO show you another cool way you can use them as a handy beauty tool.

The four brushes that I’m going to go over are the EcoTools Large Powder Brush, EcoTools Custom Coverage Buffing Brush, and the EcoTools Eye Enhancing Duo Brushes, which are dual-sided, meaning you get four brushes instead of two. I’m all about getting my brushes to focus on the essentials and work over overtime for me, so that I can reserve my time and energy for adventure, travel, and leisure, all the while looking like an enhanced version of myself!

Brush #1:

LARGE POWDER BRUSH ECOTOOLS

EcoTools Large Powder Brush – this brush is great, because it’s already versatile, with uses including the application of foundation, blush or powder. But, you can also use it as an applicator for dry shampoo! Some brands, such as Bumbler & Bumbler, VERB, and Alterna have a non-aerosol dry shampoo, which is great for travel, that you use by parting the hair, sprinkling in, and massaging for the desired effect. Now, you can rely on a fluffy, dense brush to dust around the product, and work it in. A great tip is to apply at night, so that while you sleep the hair oils are absorbed and you wake up looking, and feeling fresh in the tresses department.

Brush #2:

CUSTOM COVERAGE BUFFING BRUSH ECOTOOLS

EcoTools Custom Coverage Buffing Brush– this brush, with its short, squat bristles is ideal for smoothing in foundation, applying in a circular motion to make sure any lines, wrinkles, or imperfections are covered, and everything is evenly spread out and blended in. But, you can use this brush to do the same thing with gradual tanning products. Maintain the brush’s shape by using it on just those spots that tend to not get very well covered, like the front and back of knees, elbows, fingers and toes. Move the brush in a small, circular pattern, just like you would for foundation, to work in the product.

Brushes #3 & #4:
