I love options, and I also like feeling like I’m my own personal beauty dispensary store. With great products at an amazing value, e.l.f. (eyes, lips, face) manages to leave with the feeling of wanting not, which is one that I definitely relish. This holiday season, e.l.f. offers 22 different kits across the categories of eyes, lips, face and tools/nails, ranging from just $5-$20. Not only do they make a great stocking stuffer, but also…a wonderful gift to yourself. Don’t be shy; spread the holiday cheer to yourself as well! See the slideshow above for my top picks across a variety of categories (the Blended Beauty kit is a favorite!). You’ll find these items early to mid-November at Target, Walmart, and online at ElfCosmetics.com.

National Breast Cancer Awareness Month ties together awareness, education, and empowerment every October. Read on to see how you can contribute, promote, facilitate and inspire– oh, and did we mention shop?! No effort is too little!
Roxanne Assoulin for Loft Cares Beaded Cuff
Loft proves you can shop for a good cause and still look great with their assortment of Loft Cares limited edition tees and bracelets. $5 will be donated from the sale of each t-shirt ($39.50) and bracelet ($34.50) to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Bloggers including FashionPulseDaily show how they wear each of the BCRF designs in the effort to raise more awareness.
The full collection (available here) was inspired by the strength of those who battled the disease and the support they received. These women symbolize the millions of stories out there. You can read these powerful stories and share your own story via Facebook and Twitter!
Elizabeth Hurley Lip Design Collection
“TOGETHER. Connect. Communicate. Conquer. For a Future Free of Breast Cancer.” This is Estee Lauder’s campaign theme, celebrating its 19th year in the fight against breast cancer. Through an increasing global dialogue, the company wishes to spread the message of breast health: early detection saves lives.
The Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign distributes millions of pink ribbons and illuminates hundreds of landmarks in pink lights annually drawing attention to the issue. This year the campaign is being led by Evelyn Lauder and Elizabeth Hurley.
Estee Lauder’s Pink Ribbon Collection is designed to help raise awareness, but does not affect their overall donation of $500,000 to BCRF. Or, you can select your donation amount, and 100% of the proceeds will go to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Don your pink ribbon wristlet to raise awareness and fund research. Also check out their BCA Campaign Facebook application or follow the BCA Campaign Twitter page.
Sock It To Me
During the month of October 2011, Sock It to Me is teaming up with the National Breast Cancer Coalition (NBCC) in the fight against breast cancer. Consumers can choose from 11 quirky designs, and 50% of the sale price will be donated directly to benefit the National Breast Cancer Coalition fund. The NBCC hopes to eradicate breast cancer by designing and acting on strategies addressed to legislation.
Put on your favorite pink socks and support the fight against breast cancer! Sock it To Me’s 11 pink styles ($9 each) are perfect for Breast Cancer walks, runs, fundraisers, and more. Simply put, Sock it To Me + NBCC = the perfect match (pun intended).
Glitter Gloss and Glossy Gloss via eyeslipsface.com
By annually donating 100% of all profits from the sale of two popular lip glosses, e.l.f. Cosmetics will continue to raise breast cancer awareness the entire month of October. For six years, the brand has proudly supported The Breast Cancer Research Foundation in achieving prevention and providing critical funding for innovative research worldwide.
The new Glitter Gloss in Twinkle Pink and new Glossy Gloss in Wild Watermelon (pictured below) are chosen specifically because they’re “inspiring, feminine, and empowering to wear…and to buy!” said Achelle Dunaway of e.l.f. cosmetics. The glosses are available for $3 each, $6 a set at eyeslipsface.com.
In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the skincare experts at Mama Mio have two separate initiatives during the month of October 2011.
In a delectable group effort, Mama Mio has partnered with Butter Lane cupcakes to create the B-cup(cake). For every B-cup(cake) sold on site and online, Mama Mio will donate $1 to Look Good…Feel Better, a cancer support charity enabling women to overcome the visible side effects of cancer treatments.
Separately, Mama Mio will also donate $1 to Look Good…Feel better for every October purchase of Boob Tube Bust and Neck Firmer ($45) made on www.mamamio.com, which comes with a breast self-exam instructional packet.

GUESS Pink Friendship Bracelet
Second, retailing at $30, GUESS created a pink heart charm friendship bracelet to support the cause. The reverse side of the charm reveals three words of inspiration: “Hope,” “Courage,” and “Love”. From the sale of each bracelet, $23.80 will be donated to Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Both the watch and friendship bracelet are available at GUESS, GUESS Accessories Retail Locations, and www.GUESS.com.

The T-shirt is being sold in US and Canada stores as well as online at www.GUESSbyMarciano.com. Of the $68 retail value, $54.90 from each sale will benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Three stylish collaborations, one very important mission. GUESS and GUESS by Marciano have individually pledged a guaranteed minimum $25,000 donation to Susan G. Komen for the Cure. We Are Wearing: e.l.f. Studio Contouring Blush & Bronzing Powder
I’ve got yet another e.l.f. product to woo you with this week! This time around it’s the e.l.f. Studio Contouring Blush & Bronzing Powder, which comes in at a stunning $3. Yep, that’s it! The substantial compact comes with a mirror, but no brush (hey, for $3, I don’t mind recycling one of my existing makeup brushes for this!), and is modeled similarly to the NARS Highlighting/Bronzing Blush Duo, $40 at Sephora. First use the bronzer as a contour on the cheekbones and all over the face, then come in with the blush, applied to just the apples of the cheeks. Great for adding some layered color to your face, as well as having two options in one in your makeup bag!
