I would definitely described myself as a Zoolander superfan, and so with the anticipation building for the nationwide release of the Zoolander 2 film today, what better way to celebrate than with combining an incredibly good-looking, synergistic team up of fashion and beauty? The Derek Zoolander Center For People Who Don’t Age Good is a partnership of the film with Kiehl’s, featuring a variety of Zoolander-themed activations featuring the brand’s skincare products in a 6.5 step process. Located at 77 Eighth Avenue (on the corner of 14th Street) now through Saturday at 6pm, the “center” is open to the public to experience Kiehl’s items with two exclusive gift sets in honor of film, including “The Ridiculously Youthful Collection” unisex anti-aging kit ($26) and “The Blue Kiehl” men’s kit ($25). These are available at select Kiehl’s locations globally and online as well.

Is it a coincidence that Zoolander 2 opens during New York Fashion Week? I think not! New York Fashion Week: Men’s was last week (February 1st-5th) and today is day two of New York Fashion Week, fall 2016 collections (runs from February 11th-18th). Beauty Tuesday: Unilever’s Line of Dry Spray Deodorants

There are products that are helpful, and then those that are perfect in every way. You will wan to mark the calendar for December 1st, as Unilever’s new line of 48-our dry spray antiperspirants can be filed into the latter category, and are hitting the US market on that date. You’ll find the sprays across five brands: AXE, Degree Women, Degree Men, Dove Men + Care, and Dove found in slender aluminum cans that go on easy peasy, dry quickly without residue, smell great, and are highly EFFECTIVE.

Retailing from $4.99-$5.49 each (merchandised together and available at mass food and drug retailers nationwide) the proprietary, signature characteristics of each brand’s existing antiperspirant/deodorants are infused into the formula, like Degree’s MOTIONSENSE Technology, and Dove’s 1/4 moisturizing technology. Each brand also has 4-6 scents to choose from, and for the most part you will be familiar with them, since most are already found in their other products.

unilever dry spray deodorantsAlthough this may be new territory for the US, the Dove sprays have been available in other countries for a handful of years, and I have (proudly) been obsessed with them since I bought my first one in Italy in 2007. No longer will I have to beg the next person I know going there to bring back as many as they can carry for me! I’m certainly a Dove loyalist, and can vouch for how awesome its Dry Spray is, but I’m sure that the others are just as good; which brand and scent will you be trying this December?
