NIVEA Puts a Lid on It with The “Kiss of Style” Cap Contest, Feat. Charlotte Ronson

I recently went to NIVEA‘s first ever “Kiss of Style” Cap Contest at the Bryant Park Hotel, a project for consumers to bring out their inner designer and help NIVEA design a new package design. The skin care brand teamed up with womenswear designer Charlotte Ronson (aka one of the coolest chicks on the planet), who designed her own “Kiss of Moisture” cap (pictured above). To get started, all you have to do is log on to facebook.com/USA to start customizing. Ronson and a panel of 10 other judges will select the top 10 design finalists.

The contest is open NOW, so get designing! The deadline submission is August 22nd and the winner will be announced September 5th. The winning design will be available wherever NIVEA products are sold. The event also featured a contest where guests could spin the wheel and if it landed on a certain word they could win a Charlotte Ronson Fall 2012 outfit not even available in stores yet. Guess what? yours truly won a top from her collection! Nice!

The Project Runway and Look TV Talent Search

Do you ever sit and watch “Project Runway” and think your own designs are actually better? If so, take advantage of this opportunity because Look TV and Project Runway are on the prowl for the next star.

Simply submit a video of why you should make it to the closed casting session taking place on May 1st in Los Angeles and take that first step toward launching your fashion career!

Yeah Yeah Yeahs CD and Poster Giveaway

If you’re a Yeah Yeah Yeahs fan already or are just hearing about them now, one can’t help but notice lead singer Karen O’s amazing fashion; designer Christian Joy pushes the style envelop for Karen in such a way that Fashion Pulse Daily can’t help but tip our hats to her!
