Here’s what I saw, tested, and conquered this week from the world of fashion and beauty!I stopped by the new Elaine Turner boutique this past week, located in New York’s Upper East Side to take in the newest arrivals from the brand’s resort line (dubbed Destination: Buenos Aires), and learn a bit more about the brand’s signature style and different approach to product and selling. The Texas-based brand offers a well-edited mix of affordable yet luxurious apparel and accessories, blending right into its Madison Avenue surroundings, yet creating a relaxed and update atmosphere to shop in, with brightly painted walls, and plush pink couches to lounge on, with the option of occupying one of your hands with a glass of champagne; after all- shouldn’t shopping be an uplifting experience?
Some of my favorite pieces from the store include the Julia in Black (not surprising, right?), the Bella Blush Python Clutch, and the Smartphone Wallet in Taupe Washed Leather. Which piece is your Elaine Turner must-have?
Have you been on the hunt for a lovely new scarf? If so, check out the lineup of Garcia Artwear scarves, inspired by the drawing of the one and only, Jerry Garcia. I’m pretty confident you’ll love what you see (the Banyan Trees style is my favorite), and to make the deal even sweater, a bunch of them are on sale for $19.99 right now, AND you can also apply the coupon code “LOVE” at checkout for an extra 10% off (expires 2/14)!
This tiny tube of Clinique is a godsend; it’s a hydrating cream that brightens AND protects from the detrimental ways of aquiring skin damage and lines — from the sun!
