How would I take an updated, classic American footwear style, and give it some versality for spring? How many options can I list while still capturing your attention? I recently took on a style challenge from Famous Footwear, in which the company wanted to know how I would style the Converse Women’s Shoreline Slipon in white three different ways. I went largely for a monochromatic iteration (white party, anyone?), followed by a formal yet playful combination, and last, a summer BBQ/ parties edition. The enjoyable aspect of the Converse Shoreline Slipon is via it’s elasticized collar band in the back, which makes quickly sliding in and running out the door a breeze.
