OpenSky uses insiders (such as Veronica Webb, Alicia Silverstone, Cynthia Rowley, Bobby Flay, more) to introduce you to their favorite finds, from fashion and accessories to home, gadgets, and baby goodies. You can sign up/log in with your Facebook account, and the more you share (and buy) will enable you to earn points that can be used toward future purchases. Today, I found my favorite brand of marinara sauce (Hoboken Farms – it’s crazy delicious!) and these Liberty Print Gola Sneakers, that I will SOON have in my possession!
Threadmatcher also connected via Facebook, the site lets you create wishlists with apparel and accessories items, and unlike other visual/pinned platforms, it pulls in all of the information that you need, from brand/designer to pricing and sale notifications. It pairs you with people who have similar taste to theirs, so that you can follow and discover new items that you like, and MUST own! You can use the Threadmatcher bookmarklet tool to rethread items you find anywhere online into your own feed or through the site itself to add them into categories like ‘wished’ or ‘owned’ that you have in your account. Follow your friends and others with a similar style to your own, and “like” their various products -it’s a ton of fun and so addictive to use.
Poshmark enables you to easily buy, and sell apparel, accessories and jewelry, all from the comfort of your iPhone! Forget about eBay- this is the NEW hot way to find gently worn items from across the country and buy them at an amazing price. Search for the brand or item you desire, or check out the “parties” feature which curates specific themes or brands (today is the ‘pretty purses’ party, and we kept close tabs on the Rebecca Minkoff and Marc by Marc Jacobs party!)
Snaptiva lets the user create boards (sign in with your Facebook account or email) that help you to, collect and share your favorite things, as well as shop them in the process. Connect with your friends while sharing items that you love, and “resnap” and add them into one of your designated boards.
