For the first time ever, we caught a glimpse of (gasp!) denim in the Proenza Schouler Resort 2013 Collection. Mix in some lime green and gray tweeds along with crisp black, white, and blue to get a color palette that’s what all of NYC will be yearning for, come next year. Hard leather brought in a strong contrast, yet was everything the collection needed when balancing the other over sized silhouettes. Slouchy pants can be paired with leather vests, round shouldered jackets, and straight skirts, and basic tees look casually cool under structured jackets.
A powerfyl, high voltage-style collection that is still pretty easy to wear is exactly what Lazaro Hernandez and Jack McCollough had to showcase for this upcoming season.
Stay tuned, as the Madison Avenue Proenza Schouler store is also set to open next month, and the dynamic duo is additionally launching a small line of jewelry!
