Breaking, exclusive news: an awesome opportunity that I recently have become privy to, and that you will also get a chance to join in is the kick off of the first-ever, crowd sourced Halftime introduction and welcome of Beyoncé to the stage. Woohoo!
The deets: Pepsi and Beyoncé are inviting fans to help make this year’s Pepsi Super Bowl Halftime Show the most engaging and creative Super Bowl performance ever. Starting on Saturday, December 29th, fans are encouraged to submit photos of specific poses (as asked for by Pepsi) with the end goal of being selected for a chance to be a part of the first-ever crowd sourced Halftime intro and welcome Beyoncé to the stage on CBS this February 3rd, 2013. Pretty cool, right? If you’re not a football fan, this is CERTAINLY a reason to watch this year, and even better- you might gain some major bragging rights to friends and family if selected.
In addition, people who submit their photos will be entered into a drawing for a chance to be one of 50 lucky fans selected to cheer on Beyoncé and her dance team from the field when they take the stage during the Pepsi Super Bowl Halftime Show. What?!?! I know – pretty amazing on all fronts; get your pom poms ready! All kidding aside, you get to escape from the blustery winter weather to be right in front of the action in the incredible (and one of my favorite cities) New Orleans, at one of the USA’s biggest annual events, and part of one of the world’s most recognized artist’s performances.
In order to enter, log on to www.pepsi.com/halftime and enter photos for the designated specific poses, such as head bops, toe taps, jumping, and more (just be sure to submit by 1/11/2013 for a chance to go to the Halftime Show). I did mine already – which solicited a lot of smiles and giggles during the photo-taking process.
See below for additional rules of photo submissions, and follow along via Twitter for more deets and pics via the hashtag #PepsiHalftime .
Have fun with it, good luck, and I hope you win!!!!!
