About the Collection: Hernan Lander’s Fall/Winter 2014 collection displayed a rich palette of structured forms to flatter and inspire. His highly dimensional collection focused on geometric shapes and texture. Wide pants and snug blazers made several appearances, and waistcoats cinched at the proper places but with a flow over the hips, which has clearly become Lander’s signature sihouette. This compliments and yet contrasts with the intricate cut outs in his gowns and the low-scooped backs of his flirty wool sweaters and dresses. Hernan Lander infuses visions of modern art and innovative forms of architecture in everything he creates, with this season being no exception.
