BCBGMAXAZRIA: Forever a crowd-pleaser, neutrals abounded with touches of champagne and blush, worked into unusual fabrications such as chambray, twill, and georgette.
Nicholas K: The master of #1 the tunic, and #2 the hoodie, it doesn’t get much more casual luxe than this! Tadashi: Inspired by joie de vivre witha collection dubbed “sweet liberation,” the collection worked heavily encrusted crystals easily into bodices, that were so gorgeously prominent you could spot them from the back row! Tadashi always asserts that evening wear will always reign supreme on the runway and red carpet, even when he gets slightly experimental, mingling neoprene fabric into elegant silhouettes.
Desigual: “It’s all about fashion, it’s all about fun,” is a favorite Marc Jacobs quote of mine, but for Spanish brand Desigual, it really does ring true, no matter what the season, featuring op-art prints vibrant patterns, and brush-stroke prints.
Richard Chai Love: Certainly a favorite this season, Chai created a sure to be iconic floral print (pictured above), and used color with the perfect amount of restraint, such as these poppy red balanced with pastel blue, in silhouettes made for real bodies!Candela: The most feminine, nautical-themed collection ever created; with practically every piece wearable, the Candela girl for spring is going to get tremendous bang for her buck!
