The resort 2017 collection from Marc Jacobs was unabashedly playful and vibrant, so it only makes sense that the Marc Jacobs Beauty lineup for spring follows suit. Expect gorgeous, vivacious shades in the existing product categories of the eye liner, lipstick, and mascara, with a new introduction of a liquid lip créme. Let me walk you through the highlights of each below:
Matte Highliner Gel Eye Crayon Eyeliner ($25)
Now there’s truly no reason to feel that your ideal color and amount of shine, when it comes to an eyeliner, cannot be found. In addition to the shimmer and satin finish eyeliners, Marc Jacobs Beauty adds a matte option that boasts high pigmentation, long wear, and waterproof qualities alongside a blockbuster array of shades (12 to be exact). Ranging from traditional neutrals ( Over(night), (Earth)quake), and (Irony)y) to the more experimental shades of teal (Whirl(pool)), lilac (Mist Me?), and suede red (Fine(wine)), you’ll find a classic or on-trend shade that you’ll absolutely love!
O!mega Lash Volumizing Mascara ($26)
Enjoy the double brush applicator for extra saturation in a smudge-proof formulation in five gorgeous new shades (All About Eyes, Think Ink, Peacock, Violet Incredible, and Garnet) that also have corresponding MatteHighliner Eyeliner shades.
Nudes Sheer Gel Lipstick ($30)
I’ve got to admit that one of my favorite items from the brand is the lipsticks, and this iteration of them is just sheer perfection (pun intended). The sheer lipsticks lineup have added four new shades to its repertoire for ultimate skin-tone matching versatility. The new shades of In the Mood, Hey, Stranger, Dreamgirl, and May Day include the signature gel formula lightly scented with vanilla and with Vitamin E, monoi butter, and myrrh extract for the ultimate hydration and antioxidant delivery.
Le Marc Liquid Lip Crème ($30)
This lip crème is completely new, and 100% wonderful! It possesses two elements that don’t often coexist; it’s ultra-hydrating while providing all-day wear (8 hours) in a vibrant yet weightless formula. The six-shade palette features largely nude shades, moving from a buff to a medium dusty rose pink, infused with collagen and Brazilian cupuaçu butter for a soft, moisturizing look and feel.
All items listed above are currently available at Sephora, select Marc Jacobs stores, Neiman Marcus, and Bergdorf Goodman.
