For spring, Lepore was all about brights with brights, pairing a citron crop top with a tangerine skirt and a lilac colored net over a tangerine dress. A deep-sea blue complemented well with the bright colors, as a windbreaker was paired with a pink and blue floral swimsuit. It was hard to take our eyes off the runway, as the colors popped with a life of their own and the silhouettes were charming as much as they were downright fun. Tailored tops were coupled with full skirts and bright nets were placed over fitted dresses to add depth and flow as models strutted. Now, take to the streets as if it were your personal runway and put on some color ala Nanette Lepore!

Inspired by the urban wanderer with a sophisticated grunge feel, designersLaurence Chandler and Joshua Cooper explored just that during their Rochambeau Spring 2012 presentation. A short fashion film, titled “Paralymbic,” by Hugh Lippe was shown during the presentation, which complemented the edgy dark colors and leather pieces in the menswear collection. Shirtless models wore open vests with loose fitting pants in various lengths. The cool, laid back Rochambeau man mixes cool relaxation, and sexy at the same time.
