[You never know what brands you’ll run into; it may just be one of your favorites!]
I’ve always had very, very good luck at knocking out a bunch of gifts in one fell swoop at T.J.Maxx, Marshalls and HomeGoods around the holiday season, and sometimes I enter the store with a mission and specific gift in mind, but occasionally I will just rely on the mix of inventory to hint at what I should get, which can be thousands of items each week. With that kind of ratio, gift inspiration is bound to strike! I love that I can discover quality gifts for newborns and 90-year-olds alike at one place, making it a year-round destination for presents for loved ones and of course, myself! I even outfitted my dog-niece, Beatrice, in an adorable reindeer outfit from T.J.Maxx last Christmas.
[Holiday soaps and guest bathroom products can make a great hostess gift]
For the holidays though, I’ve found it handy that the stores offer extended hours, so that I can manage to shop around my hectic December schedule, right up until Christmas. I can pop in before work or afterward, and even pick up packaging supplies and holiday cards to be 100% ready for the season.
My latest visit to T.J.Maxx was with the intention of putting together a meaningful useful, rest & relaxation gift set for my aunt, with a sparkly something thrown in for her to wear to holiday parties and special occasions. In the span of about five minutes, I had an armful of goods that would provide some luxurious r&r via shea butter lined socks, a re-heatable neck pillow, fragrance, brand name anti-aging skincare products, nourishing haircare, and of course a bit of jewelry. It was pretty easy to accomplish my gift goal at T.J.Maxx, and I’m sure I will be back before the holiday season ends for another bout of picking up some high quality gifts for all!
Full Disclosure: Fashion Pulse Daily was given a gift card to shop with for this post.
