As the winter that is imminent has already promised to be a doozy, isn’t it great to find the best of cold weather boot options under one roof? Sorel certainly agrees, and has created the brand’s first pop-up shop at 345 West 14th Street, in the Meatpacking District. Open to shoppers through February 2015, the location offers up its classic styles alongside some newer ones sure to become favorites that work in the arctic, or you know, the slushy and black-ice prone urban sidewalks and streets. Choose from footwear for men and women, with additional cozy styles such as ultra-warm slippers making a great gift idea.
In celebration of the new store, courtesy of Sorel, I walked out with a pair of the Joan of Arctic Wedge Ankle, a fabulously versatile fur-decorated boot, a casual take on winter footwear that will look great in the office, fireside, or trudging through the concrete jungle of NYC. See this link for the store’s hours, or a retailer near you that carries Sorel.
