Are you ready to do good x 2 this month? When you treat yourself to the specially marked Cetaphil Camp Wonder Moisturizing Cream Tubs at CVS, Cetaphil will donate a $1 from every jar purchased, up to $100,000, to help send kids with serious skin conditions have the opportunity to go to Camp Wonder. For one week in June, kids from all over the country that have skin diseases get the care they need, along with the play and friendships they can form, with other children that have serious skin issues and diseases. Treat your skin to Cetaphil’s amazing cream ($13.49), that helps with problems ranging from sensitive skin to eczema and psoriasis, while helping to fund this unique and much-needed program.
For this launch, you will just have to wait a few weeks longer to partake in one of them, but trust me, it is WORTH the wait! The new Color Elixir by Color Sensational Maybelline New York, which I first spotted being used backstage at New York Fashion Week is a mix between a lipstick and a gloss, with a lightweight, non drying, shiny end result. You’ll get full coverage with the unusual leaf-shaped applicator brush tip, comprised of both short and long fibers. Available in 20 shades for $8.99, the Color Elixir hues will be available at mass retailers nationwide starting in November.
Seventh Generation Boosts are here! Available exclusively at Walgreens for $14.99 each (p.s. here’s a coupon for $3 off!), the new line of six concentrated plant-based serums are lightweight and sans parabens, phthalates, and synthetic fragrances, are hypoallergenic, and USA certified biobased to bring pure, natural ingredients into your skin routine. Choose from Hydrating, Soothing, Clearing, Firming, Revitalizing, and Procecting formulas to address your skin woes.
As part of the Jockey collection as preferred by Rachel Zoe, I recently tested the Jockey Skimmies Short Length Slipshort ($20 each, available in four colors), and to my amazement, I may just have to say that traditional slips may just have to go the way of corsets, girdles, and any other restrictive form of contemporary sartorial entrapment! Don’t get me wrong, slips serve a purpose, but now you don’t have to worry about length, clinging or a clumpy texture if you wear a little short underneath!
This shorter length is ideal for shorter skirts and dresses, and there is also an original length for longer pieces; with just two lengths, you can pretty much guarantee it will always fit underneath while smoothing it all down. I actually wore a similar style under my wedding dress, referring to it as the “biker short” since everything else proved to be too bulky and visible, and I didn’t think twice about it after it was on- a REALLY good sign if you ask me, since I had sooo much going on that day, ya know?
