I can’t get over how absolutely darling these travel sized versions of IT Cosmetics‘ best selling products are! I really don’t like checking my bag, and with these perfectly mini sizes of IT Cosmetics’ all star products, I absolutely come in below the quart-sized ziploc bag’s quota. I placed business card down so that you could have an idea of how miniature these are, which make a perfect handbag mate without weighing you down. Pictured above are my favorites, the Your Skin But Better CC Cream with SPF 50+($15), Superhero Elastic Stretch Volumizing Mascara ($12), Confidence in a Cream Transforming Moisturizing Super Cream($16), and the Tightline Full Lash Length Black Mascara Primer Mini ($10). It’s a genius idea to make mini versions of skincare and cosmetics – it just makes sense, and I don’t know what I did before without these little iterations!
Essie isn’t afraid to show it’s sparkly side for summer 2016, with six shades boasting a pronounced sense of adventure and sparkle. Glistening waters and tropical island colors were the inspiration for the collection, spear headed by the viva Antigua! shade (top, center; an iridescent crystalline turquoise), followed up with the vibrant hues of berried treasure, hiking heels, coconut cove, loot the booty, and tribal text-styles. The line, which is co-developed by actress Salma Hayek and CVS Pharmacy, has recently re-formulated and repackaged its cosmetics, with a full collection of makeup for the face, eyes, and lips. Just like the skincare and haircare lines that the brand offers, color cosmetics features hydrating and nourishing ingredients, such as ginger and green tea, chamomile, and argan and Inca inchi seed oils. The rang spans concealer, powder and stick eyeshadows, brow pencils, illuminators, concealer, plumping liquid lipstick, and my personal favorite, the moisture rich lipstick (pictured above in Blooming Red). Priced from $10.99- $14.99, it’s easy to get the right shades and products you need, with the added benefit of botanical health-enhancing ingredients.
A good eye palette is irresistible, and making it pocket size encourages me to use it THAT much more. I’m swooning over the new Aloha, Maui! mark. by avon collection, which features colors and scents as lovely as the Hawaiian Island itself. The body butter moisture gel, body mist and body wash include scents of coconut water, exotic hibiscus and rich glowing amber. The palette pictured is aptly named the mark. Hawaii Five Oh!
