My supermodel moment has arrived: thanks to the Style Coalition, Hearst, and Sunglass Hut, I am part of an upcoming campaign for summer! Wendy of Nitro: licious and Karen of Where Did U Get That are my comrades in the campaign, which involved an amazing photo shoot consisting of two looks each, an array of designer, on-trend sunglass styles from Sunglass Hut to choose from, and loads of fun! For my shoot, my looks had more of a vintage-inspired theme to them; I think I have great style versatility in my aesthetic and wardrobe, however I ALWAYS seem to gravitate toward, and look right at home in a bevy of vintage looks.

For the first look, a red jumpsuit, I was a bit apprehensive about all that fabric at first, being petite, but once I had five inch platforms on, I knew it was the right choice! Adorned with my favorite turquoise Sorrelli jewelry pieces and the flattering Coach aviators, I worked it for the camera. There certainly is something to be said of the magical transformation that happens when one puts on a pair of sunglasses; it’s a little hard to put a finger on it, but certainly an air of confidence, mystery, and utter chic pervade.

Resonating this sentiment for my second look, I wore a drop dead gorgeous white Helmut Lang confection, that although it possessed contemporary details, it emanated a very 1920s vibe. Matching the angularity of the dress and color with a pair of Vogue Cat Eye frames (sold exclusively at Sunglass Hut), the smoldering sexiness of the dress was truly brought to life via the shades. I ended up snagging the Vogue shades, a retro 1950s thick black Prada pair, and Gucci Hollywood starlet tortoise frames. Stay tuned for more info from the campaign!
