There was no shortage of a plethora of gorgeous evening wear looks that just kept coming as the week went on. A favorite was Katharine Polk’s Houghton Collection in a lush palette of predominantly whites and creams. Old favorites such as Tadashi Shoji, J. Mendel, Jenny Packham, Reem Acra, Monique Lhuillier and Carlos Miele showed chantilly laces, washed velvets, fine flowing silks, and ultra heavy gilt beading, fulfilling the fantasy of what it might be like to dress for a red carpet affair.
