There are tons of clothes in my closet that I LOVE, yet remain unworn 99% of the time due to three little words: “Dry Clean Only.” Because of those words and this circumstance of special treatment, which allots an extra trip to the dry cleaner’s for their care as well as the expense to go with it, I remain chaste in wearing them.

But I’m only doing myself a disservice by not wearing these pieces that I absolutely adore, and I’ve come to realize that ‘waiting for the right moment,” or “perfect special occasion” to wear them to may never show up! Therefore, it’s time to wear them, and worry about the dry cleaning bill later.

Beautiful items, objects that you love, should be enjoyed, and worn and worn and worn again, until other circumstances prevent you from doing so ever again.
Here, I’m wearing items that I’ve had in my closet, and have been saving for that special moment. There was nothing particularly special about this day, except for having the revelation that I should just wear what I want when I want to and everything else will fall into place.
