Let me please be fully candid with you: I absolutely adore Furla and am shameless about the number of bags I own from the brand. When I lived in Italy during the early 2000s I had first noticed the brand’s bags and like many things Italian, the beauty was in it’s streamlined, austere simplicity in design. Since then, I’ve gone on to amass a sizeable collection and have enjoyed watching the brand expand its design offerings, moving from monochromatic minimalism to a well-edited range of printed options.
My most favorite have been the artful flora and fauna like those found on the Metropolis Mini Cross Body Bag style, such as the Toni Camelia (pictured above), and there are other whimsical prints each season to explore and eventually carry all of your essentials in. If you tend to dress in black quite often despite the time of year (like moi!) then a bag like this will have an even more pronounced pop in your accessory repertoire.
The Furla Metropolis Mini Cross Body Bags can be found for $378 at Shopbop.com, Furla.com, and fine retailers such as Bloomingdale’s.
