When I entered the luxurious space that is the Fendi boutique along New York City’s storied Fifth Avenue sprawl, I caught an aromatic whiff of something delectable, sensual, and fresh, and crossed my fingers and toes that it was the new fragrance that I had come to encounter. Indeed it was, and Fan di FENDI Blossom, the fourth fragrance in the lineup (original Eau de Parfum, Extreme, and Eau Fraiche), features the Sakura cherry blossom, alongside Japanese nashi pear and raspberries, ending with a bit of vanilla essence and a dash of powder.
In an introduction given by the Isabelle Gex, Fendi Perfumes President, I learned of the history behind the fragrance development, and how it is intrinsically linked to Fendi’s DNA of incredible design and quality in both the fur and handbag categories, mimicking the hues and textures found in the brand’s signature Peekaboo bag. It truly is a unique experience to understand the thoughtfulness and evolution of concept that has been transfered from clothing and accessories into creating such a well-orchestrated formula, which I think you’ll enjoy just as much as I do.
The luscious, sophisticated, effervescent Fan di FENDI Blossom is available now for purchase in 1.7 or 2.5 fl oz bottles, retailing for $71 and $86 respectively at fine and specialty retailers nationwide, such as Saks Fifth Avenue, Macy’s, and Bloomingdale’s.
