Believe it or not, I had actually hemmed these white pants, but when I wore them into work in the morning with my flats, they actually were still touching the ground in the back-darn! I cuffed them up so they wouldn’t become instantly dirty during my commute, but by the time I got to work, I was really digging the cuffed look, which felt spot-on for summer. Are cuffs making a come back? I have a feeling that I wouldn’t be surprised to see it happening; it’s been a while since they have surfaced, so they are most likely long overdue for a trend resurgence. Back to the look: brights, pastels, earth tones, white, and neutrals ALL ended up surfacing in this look; I think what majorly attributed to it working cohesively is the absence of prints — just a tiny bit of patterning was found, via the polka dots on my bracelets and my bag. My tops continued my favorite color scheme from last summer, which I dubbed, “mustard and ketchup cool.”
