The weather this past weekend has ushered in the cold, therefore it’s time to pull out the winter gear from the back of the closet, or shop for some new, warm items to protect you from the elements while looking ultra chic. Courtesy of Lands’ End, I was able to give a good, cold weather test to their new Luxe Wool Pea Coat in Garnet and the CashTouch Scarf in Steel Gray Large Windowpane. I know that dark neutrals, like black, navy, charcoal, and the like are what’s supposed to be worn in the winter, but can’t wearing a bit of color offset the somber forecast?
The luxe pea coat really lives up to it’s name, with a combination of wool and cashmere fibers woven in Italy, a great inner pocket and lining, and a comfortable, tailored fit. It’s available in eight colors, as well as three different fit options (regular, petite (that’s me!), and plus). The best part? It’s now on sale for just $104.65 (was $149.50) – what an amazing price!
The CashTouch scarf, available in three colors, is now $19.99 (was $29.50), ultra soft to the touch, with the hand of a costly cashmere piece, but even better because it is washable. In fact, these pictures of me wearing the scarf are after I had washed it; it was just as soft and supple as when I initially removed it from the packaging. Overall-come summer or snow, Lands’ End proves again that it is a brand invested in high quality, excellent pricing, and superior functionality.
