The Electric Room, a teeny, swanky lounge located beneath the lobby of the Dream Downtown Hotel was the idyllic space for the launch of the noticeably intimate capsule collection of Eric Daman x DKNY Hosiery. The iconic brand teamed up with the Gossip Girl designer in a collaboration that’s all about the legwear.

Eight styles comprise the medley including both full tights and knee high styles – and I can’t wait to get my hands on the black floral lace pair (above)! Sold at Nordstrom’s, Bloomingdale’s, DKNY and DKNY.com, each style retails for $15 to $24. Good quality and good value tights in patterns suitable for all occasions make transitioning into fall simple.

Let’s face it – August is a hard month for shopping. Everywhere you go, window displays scream mohair and motorcycle boots, but you are still sittin’ pretty (and very happily) in your flowery sundress, thankyouverymuch.
