From our friends at thefind.com:
Floral, ruffles, studs, and more – many of this season’s swim trends are about as girly as girly can get! But if frills and flowers and sparkles aren’t your thing (or you’re just plain sick of ‘em), not all hope is lost, and your swimsuit style doesn’t have to cramped all summer! Sport-inspired swimwear is making waves this season, and modern takes on the athletic aesthetic are definitely designed for fashion, not function! The tomboy look has never looked better, as demonstrated by this summer’s array of color-blocked bikinis and zipped-up one-pieces that certainly doesn’t skimp on the sex appeal. Who knew that scuba wear could look so sultry? Shop some of my favorite sporty swimwear in the links below!

From our friends at thefind.com:
Any bargain-loving fashionista is likely already well-versed in the many designer-for-less collaborations from the likes of Target, H&M, Uniqlo, and more… and now Kohl’s DesigNation program is proving that the superstore is a force to be reckoned with when it comes to copping designer looks for less! Derek Lam is the second designer to create a capsule collection for DesigNation, following in the footsteps of Narciso Rodriguez, and he’s channeling the spirit of Rio de Janeiro with a bright, festive spring/summer collection that’s sensual and fun but still sophisticated. Urban meets jungle in this versatile mix of trousers, shirt dresses, silky blouses, maxi skirts and more, with pieces priced from $36 to $98. The collection has already been out for a month, so unfortunately, some of the hot-ticket items are already sold out… but better late than never, right? Plus, there’s still plenty more sexy summer sundresses and fancy printed pants to go around! Shop the full collection here!

When it comes to must-have pumps for adding to our shoe wardrobes, is white the new nude? Maybe not quite, but considering the season’s fascination with black-and-white color-blocking and spring-friendly white accessories, white pumps have been rapidly growing in popularity. Easy to coordinate with almost anything, not to mention totally flattering against a Spring Break tan, white pumps are clean and stylish, but it can also read a little too 80s-tastic when not done correctly. To keep the look modern, it’s important to switch things up a bit with more fashion-forward details like hardware, metallic details, ombre details, and sexy straps, just to name a few! Rock ‘em with your favorite LBD for some eye-catching contrast, or keep it casual with your favorite pair of skinny jeans and a colorful leather jacket. Browse some of my favorite picks in the links below!

Now that we’ve officially welcomed 2013 with open arms (and open wardrobes!), Pantone’s 2013 Color of the Year, emerald, opens up plenty of exciting opportunities when it comes to beauty, clothing, and accessories – especially jewelry! While last year’s big jewelry trends included chunky bib necklaces, neon accents, and of course, plenty of spikes, 2o13′s baubles are going in an even bolder direction with statement stones and bold geometric shapes, namely in the shade of the year, emerald! And if you’re excited to try adding emerald to your jewelry collection for the new year, but not so stoked about the price that normally comes with actual emerald jewelry, I’ve rounded up some great on-trend pieces to help you rock the look for less! Bold bangles, graphic earrings, and more spikes – peep some of our favorites in the links below!

Just when I think I’ve exhausted all the possible excuses to stock up on more booties and decide I should probably cool it on my shoe addiction, a new trend emerges that has me convinced I need another pair (or several). Western-inspired, wedge, studded combat styles, and more – booties serve as an easy fall footwear go-to, since they can so easily transition and be dressed up or down, from day to night, and from work to play! The latest bootie obsession on my radar is the snake-printed boot. After all, the fashion world’s obsession with prints isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. That said, don’t let the wild pattern intimidate you – the neutral tones make them easy to match with almost anything, including other prints – and they’re a saucy, sassy way to upgrade your current bootie arsenal!
