When it comes to must-have pumps for adding to our shoe wardrobes, is white the new nude? Maybe not quite, but considering the season’s fascination with black-and-white color-blocking and spring-friendly white accessories, white pumps have been rapidly growing in popularity. Easy to coordinate with almost anything, not to mention totally flattering against a Spring Break tan, white pumps are clean and stylish, but it can also read a little too 80s-tastic when not done correctly. To keep the look modern, it’s important to switch things up a bit with more fashion-forward details like hardware, metallic details, ombre details, and sexy straps, just to name a few! Rock ‘em with your favorite LBD for some eye-catching contrast, or keep it casual with your favorite pair of skinny jeans and a colorful leather jacket. Browse some of my favorite picks in the links below!

Now that we’ve officially welcomed 2013 with open arms (and open wardrobes!), Pantone’s 2013 Color of the Year, emerald, opens up plenty of exciting opportunities when it comes to beauty, clothing, and accessories – especially jewelry! While last year’s big jewelry trends included chunky bib necklaces, neon accents, and of course, plenty of spikes, 2o13′s baubles are going in an even bolder direction with statement stones and bold geometric shapes, namely in the shade of the year, emerald! And if you’re excited to try adding emerald to your jewelry collection for the new year, but not so stoked about the price that normally comes with actual emerald jewelry, I’ve rounded up some great on-trend pieces to help you rock the look for less! Bold bangles, graphic earrings, and more spikes – peep some of our favorites in the links below!

Famous fashionista Nicole Richie isn’t new to the design realm –from House of Harlow 1960 to Winter Kate – and she’s more than proved that she’s got a certain knack for standout shoes, jewelry, and on-trend boho-chic apparel. That’s right – her upcoming collection for Macy’s Impulse department, due out September 12th, is already Nicole’s third line, and until now, the few scarce snapshots of what’s in store have been a total tease! Now that we’ve gotten a better look, it’s safe to say that this more budget-friendly collection will not disappoint fans of Nicole’s previous fashion creations. From free-flowing maxi dresses, autumn-friendly minis that beg to be paired with textured tights, and bohemian-inspired prints galore, Nicole manages to stay true to her retro-modern aesthetic that’s undeniably influenced by the 60s and 70s, yet still totally now. In fact, it’s almost scary how well she manages to bring everything we love about carefree, breezy summer fashion and make it effortlessly fall festive. Don’t miss it when the line hits Macy’s Impulse later this month!

Animal prints have made their way back onto the style scene after a few decades of being exiled to the realm of tacky extinguished fads, and now it’s time for animal graphics to get another chance in the style spotlight! Forget what you know about animal motifs and cheesy knit sweaters – these modernized, ironic takes on knitwear may be partly inspired by the horrendous gifts our grandmothers used to create for us every Christmas, but they’ve got a much better sense of humor. Cute, quirky, and perfectly cozy for the nippy fall weather ahead, animal motif sweaters are a fun way to add flair and character to an otherwise boring work ensemble. Tuck in to a pencil skirt for a silly meets sophisticated look, or rock with leather-effect coated jeans and some combat boots for a sweet-yet-edgy contrasting ensemble.
