Sorel is a major Fashion Pulse Daily favorite for the colder months, but is quickly becoming a go-to brand for the warmer ones as well! The brand has taken its signature elements of extremely high quality and craftsmanship and transported them for spring/summer 2013 into new color, fabrication, and silhouette options. Our beloved Medina Rain Heel is now available in an additional color option, and we also cannot wait to wear the canvas covered wedge (pictured) with pretty much EVERYTHING! Plus, we’re also excited about the launch this Sorel first: an ultra-sturdy, stylish, ballet flat. Which style pictured is your favorite?

SOREL for Fall 2012

Each season, Sorel‘s offerings get more and more fashionable! Sticking to its core mission of consistent fit and extreme functionality, prepare to keep your tootsies warm and dry in the most fashionable way possible. Expect these styles to hit stores in July and August, and keep a special look out for the Medina Rain Heel (pictured above), which mimic details from the brand’s signature style with hardware, a great liner and leather detailing, hardware, and the Sorel nameplate on the back. I’m also really looking forward to the covered Crazy Cable Wedge style, now updated in new leg warmers and color options. Also to look forward to is more Tivoli color ways, great sturdy little heels (on the Conquest Carly and Conquest Carly Short), fuzzy lightweight Chugalugs perfect for apres-ski, and a special edition Joan of Artic Reserve style (pictured below) . Derby Days

While cradling these shoes, fresh out of the box in my hand, feeling how buttery soft they were, I just somehow knew they were going to be absolutely amazing to wear.The Sorel Derby lived up to its expectations, worn casually to work and around town, without the slightest sign of a blister, irritation, or any general foot soreness occurring. Featuring a leather footbed and sole, the Derby is available in two color options (grout or taffy), rendering the perfect balance of a “borrowed from the boys” silhouette with subtle, feminine updates.

Of course, I am a huge Sorel fan, so I was thrilled to see the fashion quotient taken up a notch for their second spring/summer collection. Check out the additional women’s spring offerings, including great sandals, flats, and canvas sneakers, plus take advantage of the free shipping offer (for a limited time).

A Sneak Peek at Sorel’s Fall 2011 Collection

With a party to fête the gorgeous new showroom in midtown along with the fall 2011 collection, Sorel certainly knows how to throw a party — and move their collections in a fashion forward direction! New styles with fanciful prints, waxed cotton, fur, a pullover boot sock, and their first pair of boots with some height via an AMAZING wedge were the talk of the evening. You’ll have to wait until August for these to arrive in-stores and at Sorel.com, but for now, you can start making your winter boot want list!
