SOREL for Fall 2012

Each season, Sorel‘s offerings get more and more fashionable! Sticking to its core mission of consistent fit and extreme functionality, prepare to keep your tootsies warm and dry in the most fashionable way possible. Expect these styles to hit stores in July and August, and keep a special look out for the Medina Rain Heel (pictured above), which mimic details from the brand’s signature style with hardware, a great liner and leather detailing, hardware, and the Sorel nameplate on the back. I’m also really looking forward to the covered Crazy Cable Wedge style, now updated in new leg warmers and color options. Also to look forward to is more Tivoli color ways, great sturdy little heels (on the Conquest Carly and Conquest Carly Short), fuzzy lightweight Chugalugs perfect for apres-ski, and a special edition Joan of Artic Reserve style (pictured below) . Fearless Winter Boots: Anna Sui X SOREL

Anna Sui and SOREL have crafted a special boot, the Anna Sui Tofino, exclusively available at the Isetan flagship store in Tokyo’s Shinjyuku (the premium Japanese department store that launched Sui into the global arena. However, a limited number of these standout boots will be available at the Anna Sui SoHo Flagship store in NYC as well.

Purple, subtle polka dots, and unabashedly sexy faux fur are grounded in a black boot that will appeal to “the most gypsy-soul of glam-rock girls.” I’d like to deem these boots a plush pair of “wild warmth” for the winter season.

This season’s campaign for Sorel is ignited by the brand’s long heritage and admiration for beautifully bold women. Sorel has honored fearless women of the past via the names of their boots such as the Cate the Great, Joan of Arctic, an Sorelia Earhart, and now, one of these three styles (pictured above) could be yours, simply by telling us about a Fearless woman in your life! (retail value is $140-$300)

A Sneak Peek at Sorel’s Fall 2011 Collection

With a party to fête the gorgeous new showroom in midtown along with the fall 2011 collection, Sorel certainly knows how to throw a party — and move their collections in a fashion forward direction! New styles with fanciful prints, waxed cotton, fur, a pullover boot sock, and their first pair of boots with some height via an AMAZING wedge were the talk of the evening. You’ll have to wait until August for these to arrive in-stores and at Sorel.com, but for now, you can start making your winter boot want list!
