It was only a matter of time before Sophie and Lisa came up with another brilliant idea they simply had to share with their adoring fans. Et voila, Viva Vena! The brand’s newest line retains the signature hand-drawn prints and neo-Dada photo collages, while providing more casual staples at a lower price point. Retailing for under $200, the t-shirts, tanks, and dresses are a mix of organic jersey with silk details and made in the designers’ hometown of Los Angeles. They’re just the thing for a beach jaunt, or an impromptu picnic in the park.
Viva Vena! will be available at Bergdorf Goodman, Saks, Scoop NYC, Nordstrom, Opening Ceremony and a host of other retailers.

Fashion Pulse traded in their converse sneakers for patent leather pumps on October 30th for the Saks Fifth Avenue party honoring creative director Damiano Biella of Escada and benefitting the Free Arts NYC organization. The party remained on the second floor of Saks, centered around the Escada boutique, which of course had clothing to die for displayed on rotating live models and complete with oversized ruffles, interesting pleat detailing and baby-soft cashmere jackets. Besides the free cocktails and eclectic fashion crowd, we most enjoyed the evening send-off via a live performance by Duffy, singing four of the songs from her debut Rockferry album.

We thought this
DKNY Colorblocked Silk Tunic, $49.90 (was $125) at Saks is a great way to add a little spice to a traditional black silk blouse. Pair it with a pencil skirt and flats to make it more casual. Add abot $12 for s&h.

We’re absolutely in love with the print and neckline of this
Tory Burch Hollie Silk Sheath, $236.90 (was $395) at Saks . Its sophisticated enough to wear to the office, but can be given a playful feel by pairing it with a bright neon handbag and some funky wedges. Add $12 for s&h.
