Remember when we announced the launch of Plukka, a site that offers limited quantities of high quality, designer jewelry for just a day or two, and the more people who buy, the CHEAPER the item gets? What to know about how to rock some Plukka Jewelry, completely gratis? Check out the PlukkaLOVES Giveaway, which goes live on the brand’s Facebook page Thursday, March 15th at 10PM EST. Sign up for PlukkaLOVES for the chance to gain entry for daily giveaways (three rings per day for ten days) and to win the grand prize — one of the two 18k gold and silver diamond ring options, Ramses, or Attica (all pictured above).
Just to prove how cool the brand’s new Razor Mittens collection is, courtesy of Plukka, I wore and styled the Bullet Ring this week. It was even more beautiful in person than I imagined! I paired it with my DVF prescription cat eye sunnies (courtesy of the brand), Silpada earrings (courtesy of Silpada), Kenneth Cole bomber jacket (courtesy of Kenneth Cole), Norma Kamali striped dress, Kate Spade polka dot tights, Aerosoles suede booties (courtesy of Aerosoles), and of course, my Plukka Bullet Ring, courtesy of the brand!
[Special thanks to Fashion Pulse fiancé for the photos!]
I wore the Plukka ring on my middle finger, which was originally not intended, but I think it really balanced the symmetry and shape of the bullet design quite well. On my left hand, I ditched my engagement ring for the day (sorry Fashion Pulse fiancé!), and instead wore my favorite bar/knuckle ring, and an adjustable studded pyramid ring by MiMi by Sorrelli (courtesy of the brand). I kept my fingernails groomed with just some clear polish for shine as I wanted the attention to go right to the ring. My philosophy for incorporating the ring into the look was to play with the clean lines found in the rings design, and also to sport colors that wouldn’t compete with the luster of the ring. Mission accomplished!
