For most, coffee is a lifeline, and admittedly I’m no different than all of those other java-addicted folks out there. On the weekends, I elevate my coffee experience by making it pour-over style, which takes more time than plopping in a pod and pressing a button, but the taste pay-off is well worth the extra time, which all in all, is just a couple of minutes.
Recently, my pour-over, and really, brew-accessories go-to has been Osaka Coffee, who believes that the making and drinking experience should be special, and upholds the Japanese mantra of balancing aesthetics and performance, which can be quite enthralling to experience when done properly. The brand makes gorgeous coffee brewers, like my Pour-Over Coffee Station in Wood (pictured; $69.99), as well as a Cold Brew Dripper, Stovetop Espresso Maker, a French Press, and the incredibly cool Siphon Coffee Maker. I love the pour-over option as it not only looks modern and beautiful sitting on my kitchen counter, but also is so practical – I don’t need to buy filters for it, and the multiple cup 20 oz capacity glass carafe it comes with is resistant to thermal shock and doesn’t take in any odors, chemicals or residue.
If you are a little nervous about making coffee manually via one of these brewers, have no fear; it’s already been taken care of for you! Osaka has a coffee calculator on the site which, based on your preferences of cup quantity and strength, tells you exactly how much water and coffee to use. Pretty easy right?
The brand also offers storage solutions and accessories, like a vaccuum-sealed canister (pictured; $24.99-$29.99), kettles, a thermometer, and even ceramic or glass mugs. For the coffee enthusiast or connoisseur, I’m now a believer that Osaka Coffee will thoughtfully take you down the proper path to supreme java bliss.
