Spring 2015 sees the arrival of a dozen products exclusive to CVS that carry forward the mantra of natural ingredients coupled with visible results. Some of my favorites include the Oil-Free Sheer Liquid Veil SPF 50 ($9.99), a skin primer that works to impart hydration while it works well on its own or underneath makeup.It provides an extra sheer level of SPF protection to your precious face, and features a Salma-favorite ingredient, Mimosa Tenuiflora Bark Extract, from a tree native to Brazil and southern Mexico, and is an old secret skincare ingredient to fight the signs of aging.
Other skincare products that I’ve been into for the new launch also include the Nourish & Renew Facial Oil ($21.99) and Marigold Oil Cleansing Facial Oil ($9.99), the former featuring immense hydration and conditioning benefits thanks to jojoba oil, calendula and rosemary extracts, and Vitamin E, and the latter including marigold (calendula) oil suitable for all skin types and to reduce inflammation while taking away dirt and makeup in the cleansing process.
For hair, I can’t get enough of the Nuance Salma Hayek Mamey Fruit Texture Enhancing Finishing Spray($12.99), which totally gets it when I want to take a day off from washing my tresses. Mamey Fruit Oil, a great emollient that is kind of a miracle hair ingredient, chock full of vitamins A, B, C, and E, proteins, amino acids, fatty acids, and minerals, while natural clay aborbs hair oils an oat extract comes in to condition and add texture.
