“Woah; this is a dude box?! Cool!” The Fashion Pulse Hubby was duly impressed at the arrival of The Hudson Box from Sprezzabox, a subscription box company for guys that offers a variety of male-centric accessories that are practical and stylish, all packaged together to provide an extraordinary value. From clockwise, this box included a sleek money clip, watch, balm, a pocket square and dress socks, a retail value of $104, but would cost as much as $35 to buy the box outright, and as low as $25, if the annual plan was purchased.
Plans are on a month to month subscription, a three month, six month or annual option, while the possibility of buying some of the items, and some of the boxes, ala carte also exists (see full pricing list, here). I like all of these possibilities, to lower the commitment as well as the potential of repetitiveness of objects, however Sprezzabox does a good job of coordinating the boxes and consciously selecting complimentary items, so I don’t see it being much of a problem. The most exciting thing for me about the company is being introduced to great new brands that I may not have heard of otherwise. This opens a new realm of gifting options as well, as, speaking of the guys in my life in particular, are, extremely difficult to buy gifts for. I’m all for anything that will make those challenging people on my gift list easier to shop for, so, spoiler alert: you all are getting Sprezzabox for Christmas!
