Levi’s, who hosted its first global fashion show in Soho, presenting some items from its global line, emphasizing the concept of craftsmanship, honesty and authenticity. Fashion wise, the company is certainly defying the convention by thinking beyond traditional blue jeans; models were wearing a plethora of denim combinations in new coated treatments, military or hunting- inspired outerwear, and khakis.
Shown was a mix of male and female models, showcasing tapered pants and reinvented boot cut skinny jeans, respectively, as the key concepts. The males’ rugged, workwear look was occasionally balanced with stiff, raw denim and a khaki trench. Women wore flannels, white button-down shirts shown with a coated A-line skirt, oversized glasses and denim maxi skirts. With a versatile polished hipster look, gray jackets, bikes and red pants, models bridged the gap between casual and professional style for the 21st century.
