Trends come and trends go, but one that just doesn’t seem to quit is color blocking. It’s no surprise that vivid colors remained in vogue all summer. Something about warm weather and sunshine just calls out for a vibrant snap of color. But even though temperatures will soon be dropping, fashionistas everywhere are still embracing stunningly colorful pieces to supplement their wardrobes.
Color blocking is not a new phenomenon. As early as the 1960s, designers were using clean geometric lines and boldly contrasting colors to ensure their clothes made a big visual impression. But until this year, it’s never been quite so fully embraced across all fashion walks of life. High end Gucci girls and budget-conscious H&M babes alike have a plethora of brightly-hued fashion options at the ready.
