Strappy Clog-Inspired Platform Sandals For Summer! (thefind Guest Post)
Post via our friends at thefind.com:
Don’t ask me why my mother had me wearing clogs when I was in 3rd grade, but if you had asked my far-less-stylish self back then (or maybe just extremely fashion-forward self) if I thought the shoes I was rockin’ would become cool again within the next 2 decades, I would have thought you were crazy. Leave it to the unpredictability of fashion trends to prove me wrong, because modernized clogs have been having quite the moment for the past year or so. And despite their clunky, chunky stereotype, they’ve proven to be surprisingly versatile to suit the passing seasons. Aside from the classic silhouette, clog booties tore it up during the fall and winter, and now clog-inspired sandals are coming on the scene to sweep up the espadrille competition. Slightly dressier than straw wedges but still undeniably summery and casual-cool, clog sandals are on-trend without being ostentatious or wardrobe-limiting — they go with almost anything!

Get The Illusion Of Endless Legs with Nude Platform Wedges (thefind Guest Post)
Fabulous Guest Post via thefind.com
Nude pumps have been a hot-ticket item for awhile now, and still don’t seem to be letting up anytime soon. Not only do they go with nearly any outfit, but their ability to elongate the look of your legs is pretty priceless — it’s no wonder the neutral-hued shoe hasn’t become just a passing fad. However, like any popular trend that sticks around, it’s bound to endure its share of seasonal updates in order to keep it fresh and appropriate, and I have to say I’m in love with this season’s nude platform wedges. Think of it as the spring and summer update to both the platform wedge bootie and the nude pump — these sky-high instant gam-boosters are destined to become your new favorite footwear staple! Go for a sort of pump-sandal hybrid with these Jimmy Choo patent peeptoe espadrilles, or look forward to summer with some pretty wedge sandals with metallic details like this Jil Sander pair. Thick strappy sandals are super-hot for the warmer weather ahead, so take these Dolce Vita Pela Wedges or B. Makowsky Doogie Sandals for a test run. But if you’re not ready to say ‘bye’ to the bootie, go for a springy suede pair like these Seychelles ‘Eye to Eye’ Wedges which sport cut-outs for a little extra breathability!
