In addition to Gemma Redux‘s Classics and Metals lineup of jewelry comes the Graffiti Collection for spring 2015, a gracious pop of color drenched jewels that are both eye-catching and veer toward the subtle. Designer Rachel Dooley explained to me that while some pieces have a kaleidoscope of rainbow hues that are more overtly visible, others offer just a flash of color, in some cases hand-painted on the underside of the metals. Brilliant!
The slender, streamlined designs of the collection boast a variety of carefully-worked metals that range in hue from silver and yellow gold tones to rosier ones, oftentimes being thoughtfully blended in terrific ombré combinations of two or three shades at once. See the slideshow above for some of my top picks from the upcoming collection.
If you aren’t familiar with the brand, all Gemma Redux pieces are actually hand made in New York City, and has received accolades from publications such as Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, and ELLE. The Gemma Redux 3/4 Hoops are one of the most innovative, coolest takes on a classic piece of jewelry that I’ve ever seen, and if you’d like to shop the brand before this spring collection arrives, head to Intermix, Paire.US, and GemmaRedux.com.
