It’s hard to select which colorway I like best in this vintage-inspired Architectural Tiered Dress, $46. It’s such a great look that would certainly work from day to evening, and I’m pretty sure you could get away with telling people you got it on sale at Net-a-Porter.com. It may be a little white lie, but hey, you can get away with it in this dress! Pair with some funky vertical dangling  earrings, and open toe lace-up heels or classic rounded pumps.

Forever 21 Pick of the Day: Cowl Neck Knit Dress, $29

winedressI’m normally not a big fan of cowl neck anything (the style is just too circa 2001 for me — sorry!), however I would be willing to make an exception for this Cowl Neck Knit Dress, $29. The style is taken to the next level via the angular draping and side button accents, makin it most definitely a knock-out item! Pair it with some chunky bangles, patterned tights and boots.  Choose from wine or green, and add about $5.95 for s&h.

Forever 21 Pick of the Day: Feather Headband, $4.80

I’ve been rocking headbands for as long as I can remember, and have yearned for the day when I can pull off more of the avant-garde sort (think the Philip Treacy of headbands). Luckily for me, headbands adorned with all sorts of crazy feathers are a la mode these days, so I wouldn’t look quite so kooky sporting this Feather Headband ($4.80). I’ve seen many more extravagant ones, with feathers that practically drape over your eyes, but for now, I’m content with this more subtle, pheasant-feather inspired version. Style recommendations? Pair it with black, black, and more black dahling!
