While the 18 hues in the collection range from more nude shades to shimmery and even electric color options, the characteristic that they all possess is the same brilliant shine and high gloss final result.
My personal favorite is Uproar, described as a “melon shimmer” that is, however, subtle enough for every day, but also great for special occasions. Each lip lacquer has a minty aroma, which seems to perfectly coincide with something being placed around the mouth, and the applicator wand tip is malleable for a smoother, more accurate application.The texture is ultra smooth, has a minimal sticky quality to it, and leaves lips feeling properly moisturized.
Like anything Marc Jacobs does, a sense of fun and whimsy is infused; each lip lacquer takes a cue from Jacobs’ music preferences, utilizing some of his favorite songs as the name of each hue.
