Hearst Publications is proud to launch Hello Style, a YouTube channel devoted to fearless fashion and fun! Get ready for the launch of these new shows, committed to 70 hours of total programming from Cosmopolitan, Marie Claire, Harper’s Bazaar, Seventeen & Real Beauty!
Here’s the scoop on each show…
Fashion Mission: Lindsey Calla, fashion blogger/budget expert, and Karen Blanchard, fashion blogger/shopaholic, pair up to take on the arduos challenge of creating the outfits every woman needs.
Big Girl in a Skinny World: Marcy Guevara prepares to show off her curves proclaiming she will “Try anything at least once.” Once again, Marie Claire battles the myth that a plus-sized wardrobe can’t be chic. It’s about making trends that work for your body because fashionistas come in all sizes.
Visible Panty Lines (VPL): The name of the show mirrors its energy. Hilary and Hank are a dynamic duo prepared to talk fashion, style, trends, pop culture and beauty while making you laugh all the while. [Aside: Hank and I chatted briefly and my face hurt from smiling! He’s a true comedian.]
Seventeen‘s Beauty Smarties Showdown: Actress Shay Mitchell hosts this show as real-life beauty bloggers compete weekly in intense makeup and hair challenges. The best of the best YouTube bloggers will go head-to-head to stay in the competition creating different looks and showing off their talent.
Harper’s Bazaar The Look: Laura Brown of Harper’s Bazaar has a job most people only dream of. Join her as she talks to celebrities, models, designers and more about the glamorous, exclusive world of fashion. This is the industry’s top of the top.
Cosmo’s Sexy vs. Skanky: Carolyn Kylstra, senior editor at Cosmopolitan Magazine, is a writer and sex and dating advice columnist. Jessie Cantrell is a hot comedian, unafraid to speak her mind. Together, the two will co-host this show either praising your sexiness or forever condemning your skanky ways.
