I had the pleasure of attending Nolcha Fashion Week over at the Metropolitan Pavilion a few days ago and getting to talk to some awesome eco-designers as well as see a fab fashion show featuring Daisy & Elizabeth an eco-friendly lingerie line, which was hot. Thymes is such a super bath and body brand; it manages to capture the perfect blend of essential oils with amazing scents while maintaining that it is free of of parabens, SLES, SLS, propylene glycol, mineral oil, petrolatum and animal-derived ingredients. The latest addition to the collection, the Bergamot Vert collection, includes bergamot alongside notes citrus, cypress, jasmine and musk.
I received for review the Liquid Hand Wash ($12) and the Body Wash ($18), which certainly lived up to the brand’s reputation of high quality and performance with relaxation at its core. Thanks to the bergamot, this fragrance certainly possesses a unisex appeal as well as great moisturizing properties thanks to the vitamins C and E ingredients.

I have chills! Why, you ask? BECAUSE…I just found another amazing eco-label called Eairth. But, you probably figured that out based on the above.
Created by New York Designer Melissa Dizon, Eairth introduced its first line in 2007 and is made from organic materials such as pina, abaca, silk, cotton and wool and harvested by indigenous tribes. The line uses pigments from ingredients like coconut husk, talisay leaves, and indigo and the fabrics are hand-woven made in old-style looms.
