Project Lipstick: Making Each Makeup Application Count

Makeup. We all have our own personal relationship with it, and in many cases, can be an instant mood and confidence builder. A little bright lipstick can go along way, and it’s easy to forget that not everyone has access to products like these. Enter Project Lipstick, a terrific 501(c)3 non-profit organization that gives physical and emotional make-overs to those residing in women’s shelters that in turn helps with confidence and career placement.
Beauty and health/toiletry products are needed to distribute, and with several chapters of the organization throughout the USA, as well as a monetary donation option, it’s easy to get involved with the organization. I recently donated two massive bags of unused products that I had to the Project Lipstick New York chapter, which was so gratifying since I know they will go to a much better use than sitting in a drawer or bag in my apartment.
