We are becoming more and more like professional makeup artists. The knowledge, the tips, the tricks are all accessible – we just have to now do it! The Revlon CustomEyes Shadow & Liner is a great example of the process being laid out for you – on the back of each palette it tells you the order to apply the color and where.
I tested out the Rich Temptations palette, following the instructions exactly, which made me think about the layering of color, and how I have a very light hand when it comes to the application of makeup to the face. I almost didn’t want to interrupt the quilted pattern on the eyeshadow, as it was just so pretty to look at! Overall the custom palette was easy to use, the colors blended well and were incredibly smooth and matte, making the shadows the perfect transition from a busy day of shopping at the mall with my best friend to dinner that night for my boyfriend’s mom’s bday.
