Don’t you hate it when you go back to your favorite online sites, only to see the same merch still up, that you saw a few weeks ago? Enter Trendenzas, a new accessories site that exudes a freshness to online retail, offers up the latest styles, all within a very affordable reach. A new item is featured on the site daily, for a mere 24 hours at a price slash lower than retail that also includes the shipping rate. The sale on Friday is the longest running one, lasting through the weekend for an extra chance to buy.
If you missed a sale, there’s a chance the jewelry will end up on The Trend Files, a page where selective items that have already been sold may found. “Our jewelry is imported from all over the world, we do not work with any designers rather manufactures as our products are all costume jewelry,” explains Cassandra Caldwell, President and Founder of Trendenzas. The trends “are everything from what I have seen on the street that week to something I loved out of a magazine…. or even a suggestion out of our Thoughts@trendenzas.com inbox.” So go ahead- indulge in a little something for yourself, or bookmark the page and visit it frequently — even daily!

Palladium — a precious metal that is gaining popularity in jewelry design, used as an embellishment in Tiffany’s new handbag collection, and in jewelry designs by Marc Jacobs is at the center of a new project Fashion Pulse Daily is working on, alongside two talented designers, Melissa Kaye and Ginger Friedland at the Fashion Institute of Technology’s (FIT’s) notable Jewelry Department to create a one-of-a-kind cuff made from the material. Claire from Fashion Pulse Daily initially met with the duo to look over sketches, discuss aesthetics, and design options, with initial sketches of the collaboration piece due in January of 2011.

Some of FPD’s inspirations include an Elsa Peretti for Tiffany cuff, and jewelry designs by Alexis Bittar, Tom Binns, Subversive Jewelry by Justin Giunta, and even a pair of Pierre Hardy shoes! By March of 2011, we will have in-hand the final item, a cuff made from Palladium – stay tuned as the design process continues!
