Holiday parties are upon us, and it’s time to bring out the velvet, the lace, the satin, and the frou. Deciding what to wear can be a challenge, and I’m stuck on what shoes to pair with my asymmetrical one-shouldered lbd. Can you help me pick a pair of shoes from the Carlos by Carlos Santana collection that will make my outfit look amazing?

I think that the 5th choice, the Women’s Fortune in Bronze/Black Suede is a great choice. The super high heel with the contrasting bronze makes for that seasonal spice that will complement that satin trim in your dress and balance the one shoulder affect without taking away too much attention of the detail of the dress. I think it will also balance well with the print of the rose print lace stockings. The closed toe also helps in these brutal temperatures! Happy Holidays!

#3!!! With the layering of your dress along with the pattern of the hose; I’d go with something feminine & just a touch of detail – and since I’m a classic style by heart, I love the edging of these shoes. (The fact they’re suede helps a little, too Either way; love the outfit!

I’m somewhat torn between the red, blue/black lace, or the bronze/black booties! lol I love them all, but since I can only choose one, I’d go with the red #2!! It IS the Holidays…& anything else would be too much black! It’s a party, not a funeral…lol Swap your clutch out for something in a red tone, or give your nails a fresh coat of red paint & you’re all set;) You’ll be making an entrance for sure!

I would have to go with #1. The dress is a little edgy, with one shoulder, and I think the patent leather will really pick up the satin striping on the dress,without overpowering the dress the way some of the other more detailed and comnplicated styles would.

Definitely #1 – Gorgeous shoes but they won’t take away from the dress or the hose. I love the red shoes but eyes would all go to those shoes rather than your lovely face.

I really feel that the tights would look a little busy with most of those shoes. #3, not a little reminiscent of Jeffrey Campbell’s gorgeous unicorn-inspired shoes, would look great with the whole outfit. With quieter tights, I’d say #5.

What cool choices! OK, so ultimately I think #5 gives a bit of sparkle, edge, uniqueness. Plus it can be worn dressed up or down with the boots doing all the talking. Also can be worn with skirts, dresses and pants, with tights or hose. They look sexy, festive and very Carlos.

I love the No 1. I think the dress and the lace have enough going on, these shoes are simple yet elegant, they will go with anything and add to the outfit without taking anything away from it.
