As a multi-tasker, I love finding pieces that allow me to stay comfortable (especially in the sweltering late-summer heat!) and add a little something stylish to my casual-cool wardrobe (yes, you could say I like having my cake and eating it too when it comes to fashion). After all, what fashionable girl doesn’t love pieces that allow her to feel comfy and have a little sex appeal to boot? As a warm-weather staple (no, it’s not too late to buy summer tops!), I swear by slouchy off-the-shoulder tees. Think of showing a little shoulder as the more casual, daytime alternative version of a plunging neckline that’s just as sexy because it’s totally effortless. It’s a little undone and a tad messy with that just-threw-this-on flair, but that’s what makes it chic! Show off sun-kissed shoulders with a loose, single-strap top like this one by Ella Moss, or go for a slightly flirtier version like this Kimchi Blue tee from Urban Outfitters. Or, for a bit of dressier embellishment, I love this Michael Stars sequined top or this zipper-detailed one by Juicy Couture, which can both be dressed up with leggings and a pair of heels for a more upscale look!
