Sorel Torino Boot Giveaway

Sorel, the title sponsor of the Fashion Pulse Daily Anniversary Party, is kind enough to give away a pair of the Sorel Torino boots in black, intense red, to one lucky Fashion Pulse Daily reader! These boots feature a waterproof shell, full length lining (100g Thinsulate insulation), a removable footbed, and excellent traction. When the weather is dreadful outside and the snow turns to mush, you’ll be very glad you have these on your feet!

My favorite winter accessory is a fabulous scarf my mother-in-law got me — from Quebec City. It’s wool with multi-colored stripes and goes with everything. I’ve had it for at least 6 years now and everytime I wear it, I get compliments. Oh yeah, it keeps me warm, too. (Love me some Sorel boots!!)

My favorite accessory is my gloves with Thinsulate lining. I freeze in winter, and Thinsulate is the only thing I’ve found that keeps me warm while not being too bulky and allowing freedom of movement. Thinsulate rocks! I’m very pleased to see that these Sorel boots also have a Thinsulate lining. That means my toes will stay toasty!

My fav winter accesory is my “wristies” i got last year, They are like long fingerless mittens. http://www.wristies.com/ They are great for when your gloves are a little short and dont cover your wrists and are perfect for layering under gloves . the wristies i have go from my thumb to about 1/2 the way to my elbow. They help keep me warm when i am cleaning off my car or the truck and have to reach up or stretch.

I have these fabulous gloves where the pointer finger and thumb have little removeable hoods that button back, so you can use the fingers for say, a touch-screen phone (which I have)! They’re so convenient so I don’t have to remove my gloves to answer a call, check my mail, etc!

- TIGHTS! love love love tights!
- BOOTS! of all heights, colors and styles mmmm
- GLOVES! fingerless, leather, lace, cashmere, gloves with bows, gloves with studs, mittens …
- SCARVES! infinity scarves are my current obsession
- SOCKS! especially those amazing thigh highs from American Apparel
- HATS! knit caps are great for indoors and out, but i adore every style of head gear
- and last but not least … FAUX FUR COATS! i have a slight fetish with great coats, but there’s something about faux fur i simply can’t resist … i’m currently at 3 (two thrifted, and one newbie – recently resisting the addition of a fourth very hard to do)

*sigh* these boots would make the perfect new accessory for winter seeing as i’m completely without a pair of snow boots and these are adorable!

For me, it’s my new (this season) thinsulate-lined convertable black leather mitten/gloves — they have a magnet, so the mitten flap secures to the back of the hand without velcro or buttoning. The ONE problem with them is that they were only barely wrist length, but some cozy wrist warmers solved that problem.

I am not a fan of gloves but the fingerless gloves let me stay warm and still send a text on my cell phone. The best winter find is Old navy. thermal pajama bottoms (in turquoise, how fun). They kept me so very cozy during the “arctic blast”.

The best winter accessory I have in my wardrobe is a pair of fuzzy fingerless gloves with a pop-over mitten top. Great of all occasions and temps! Just need some awesome boots to keep my toes warm too I’m a fan on FB and on Twitter (@JessiO)!

My favorite winter accessory is my Nils Ski Jacket! Is that an accessory?! It is what I love to wear because it is sporty, I love the red color, and it makes me feel warm yet really stylish! I also love my long red and black scarf that my Mom hand knit for me to wear with my jacket. Not only does it keep me warm and protected from the wind, but it has so much love and special meaning to it!

My absolute fave winter accessory is my new Gap pea coat!! It’s a waist length (shorter) black one. It has amazing zipper detailing on the pockets and has 4 buttons to snazz it up a bit on the front. It was a great find, it’s dressy enough to go to work, but adorable enough to wear out!
